本研究以焦點三百地區教師觀點出發,以焦點團體訪談方式進行討論有關教學中遭遇的困境及其因應方式。研究發現焦點三百學校教師所遭遇困境有:家庭功能不彰;學生生活環境中缺少正向楷模的例子;學校行政與教學無法配合;缺乏進修資源,需任教非專長科目;環境因素。教師在面對困境的因應與調適方式為:延長學生在校時間;多與家長聯繫,辦理戶外教學拓展學生視野;投稿文章抒發自己的教育理念;堅持自己的想法,選擇性接受意見;自我提升;與資深前輩討論,和朋友抱怨抒發情緒;相信自己對學生的影響力與學生未來改變的可能。

英文摘要

This study adopts a focused group methodology, collects opinions from teachers of the 300 focus schools including the obstacles they confront to, and their respective solutions. The study reveals the problems faced by these teachers include the malfunction of students’families, the lack of positive role models in students’ lives, the difficulty for teaching and administrative department to cooperate, the lack of resource for teachers to pursue further education, the problems for teachers to teach their non-specialized subjects, and environmental factors. In confronting such obstacles, the solutions adopted include:prolonging the time students stay in school, contacting parents on a more frequent basis, arranging field trips to broaden students’ perspectives,submitting articles on their education philosophy to journals; standing firm on their beliefs, selectively accepting opinions, self-improvement,
discussing with predecessors, complaining to friends, and believing in
the possibility to influence the future of these children.
