本研究旨在探討新移民家庭子女與本國籍子女在自我概念、學業表現與生活適應的差異情形;並探討新移民家庭子女在自我概念、學業表現與生活適應三者的關係。新移民家庭子女的生活適應除包含個人、家庭、學校適應外,亦加入文化適應與社區適應兩個分層面。本研究採用「自我概念量表」、「學業表現量表」與「生活適應量表」為研究工具。以全國共 1269位高年級國小學生為樣本進行調查。 研究結果如下:1.新移民家庭子女與本國籍子女在自我概念有顯著差異,在學業表現無顯著差異,在生活適應各層面上僅學校適應分量表呈現顯著差異。2.新移民家庭子女自我概念、學業表現與生活適應兩兩間有顯著的相關存在。3.新移民家庭子女的自我概念與學業表現對生活適應具有預測力。

英文摘要

The purposes of this research aims to realize the correlations among foreign spouses’ children’s self-concept, academic achievement and life adjustment. The research selected 1269 students as purposive samples. The findings of this research are illustrated as follow: There is significant difference when comparing the degree of self-concept of foreign spouses’ children and native spouses’ children. There is no significant difference when comparing the academic achievement of foreign spouses’ children and native spouses’ children. When comparing every level of life adjustment of foreign spouses’ children and native spouses’ children, only school adjustment shows the significant difference. While predicting foreign spouses’ children’s life adjustment, the research shows that the degree of self-concept and the academic achievement are predictable.
