中文摘要
透過回顧文化研究與基督教神學各自的近期發展，並探討田立克 (1886–1965) 的神學及其與法蘭克福學派、存在主義及心理分析的關係。本文嘗試說明，田立克的神學可提供一神學的視角，以展示文化研究作為一門學科對於神學的意義，此一視角，不僅有助文化研究與神學之間建立互益的互動，對當代中國的神學發展更尤具啟發性。
英文摘要
After reviewing some recent developments in cultural studies and Christian theology respectively and exploring the theology of Paul Tillich (1886–1965), especially its relationship with the Frankfurt school,existentialism, and psychoanalysis, this paper will attempt to demonstrate that Tillich’s theology may offer a theological perspective for the theological appropriation of cultural studies as an academic discipline.Based on this perspective, there can be mutually beneficial interaction between Christian theology and cultural studies. Furthermore, this Tillichian perspective will be particularly relevant to theological
development in contemporary China.
