學門評鑑已是高等教育活動中不可分割的一環，評鑑的意義在規範教育機構對於學門教育的品質改善，提昇機構的競爭力，這是學門機構中的所有成員對評鑑應有的重要認知。在思考觀光學門在台灣的評鑑指標如何與國際接軌之時，應當先對國際間相關評鑑系統做深入的探討與比較，在建立屬於本地的教育評鑑指標時做為借鏡。本文主要目的有三：首先是剖析教育評鑑與評鑑指標理論基礎、然後檢視與分析國際間TedQual與QAA機構的教育評鑑之制度與內涵，最後提出我國觀光學門評鑑架構之啟示與建議。

Program evaluation has become one of the significant activities in the higher education in Taiwan. The true meaning of evaluation is to motivate the program institution to continuously improve the educational quality, which is also the important concept that should be recognized by the institutional faculty and staff. In order to establish the framework of program evaluation for the tourism higher education in Taiwan, it is suggested to learn from the international evaluation systems already implemented for the relative programs. There are three purposes for this review article. Firstly, the theoretical bases of educational evaluation and evaluation standards are described. Secondly, the evaluation systems of TedQual and QAA are reviewed and analyzed. At last, the framework of evaluation standards for Taiwan's program evaluation is proposed and implications are discussed.
