Amputation of the penis is a rare traumatic injury. We present a 68-year old man who suffered a complete penile amputation in a result of uncomfortable accident by hi
mself. Microsurgical replantation was performed with restoring nearly normal genitourinary function. The
importance of using microsurgical techniques in order to achieve better functional and cosmetic results is discussed. In addition, we emphasize that the proper management of penile entrapment usually results in a good outcome and leaves no complication.
