本文旨在分析近10年內環境教育的研究方法與趨勢。作者整理2000-2010年間國內外三份重要期刊:環境教育學刊、Environmental Education Research、Journal of Research in Science Teaching發表之372篇環教論文,及2009環境教育實務交流暨學術研討會等 136 篇,共 508 篇環境教育論文,以內容分析法分析其研究性質與主題趨勢,結果顯示國內外環境教育論文研究方式均以質性研究較為偏多,而本國環教論文在國際期刊中發表比率尚嫌不足,因此建議未來應增強國際間環教研究的合作、增加環教專門刊物的發行,及發展環境教育學習概念的研究等陎向的努力,以落實環境教育的全陎推廣。

英文摘要

The purpose of this study was to find out the environmental education research topics, research types, data collection methods and research trends, by reviewing a total of 508 articles, of which 372 articles were published in three key journals - Chinese Journal of Environmental Education, and Envi-ronmental Education Research, Journal of Research in Science Teaching, whereas the others were pub-lished in environmental education conferences held between 2000-2010. The results showed that there are more qualitative articles than quantitative articles in the environmental education research. In addi-tion, there exists a fact that there are very few articles published in international journals by Taiwanese researchers. In conclusion, the results of this study suggest that it is necessary to enhance international cooperation on environmental education research, increase special publication of environmental educa-tion, and develop environmental education concepts for the purpose of carrying out comprehensive pro-motion for environmental education.
