藍花楹(Jacaranda acutifolia Humb.)，為紫薇科常綠喬木，台灣引進栽培為庭院觀賞植物。將藍花楹花部丙峒萃取液進行細胞毒性試驗(MTT assay)、動物皮膚刺激與眼膜刺激性試驗，實驗証實藍花檻花部丙酮萃取液具有化妝品應用之安全性同時，將藍花楹花部丙酮萃取液調配成乳液進行皮膚彈性試驗，研究結果顯示含藍花楹花部乙酸乙酯可溶層配方可將皮膚彈性恢復力(R2)增加21.83±2.59%，且黏彈性性質(R2)的數值增加35.63±1.74%。此實驗結果顯示藍花檻花部丙酮萃取液具有化妝品應用的潛力。

Jacaranda acutifolia Humb is a cultivated species in Taiwan area as ornamental plant. The extracts of Jacaranda acu1/b1ia flowers were evaluated as an effective candidate on cosmetic products using the cell viability MTT assay and security tests (including acute dermal irritation and acute eye irritation). By the way, the lotions of the acetone flactions of Jacaranda acutifolia flowers possessed the activity of increasing the skin elasticity by the R2 value increasing ratio 21.83±2.59% and R8 value increasing ratio 35.63±1.74%. The results suggested that Jacacanda acutifolia flower extract can be used an active ingredient for new anti-wrinkle cosmetics.
