性別主流化已經是全球性推動性別平等的重要策略。台灣在民間團體與專家學者們對性別議題的
長期發聲及推波助瀾下，政府於200 年啟動了「性別主流化」及「性別影響評估」政策。隨著性別意識的倡議與提升，護理人員不應置身事外，而應掌握契機，順應並參與性別主流化的政策推動。本文將就性別主流化的推動，提出護理人員應有所準備與因應的方向，包括：培養性別能力、了解性別相關法案、性別影響評估、性別融入護理教學、從事性別相關研究以及參與健康
決策。期待護理人員對性別主流化有更多的認識與了解，同時能參與性別相關政策的制定過程，
進而協助提升婦女／性別健康及護理專業發展。

Gender mainstreaming is one of the most important strategies in promoting global gender equality.The Taiwan government launched policies on gender mainstreaming and gender impact assessment in 2007 in response to strong public and academic advocacy work. With rising awareness of gender
issues, nursing professionals in Taiwan should keep pace with global trends and become actively involved in advancing gender-mainstreaming policies. This article shows that nursing professionals should prepare themselves by cultivating gender competence, understanding gender-related regulations,recognizing the importance of gender impact assessment implementation, integrating gender issues into nursing education,
conducting gender-related research and participating in decision-making
processes that promote gender mainstreaming. Nursing professionals should enhance their knowledge and understanding of gender mainstreaming-related issues and get involved in the gender-related decision-making process in order to enhance gender awareness and women’s health and further the professional development of nurses.
