本研究目的旨在瞭解女性性工作者性經驗、性知識、性態度與安全性行為之相關情形。採立意取樣以高雄地區42位女性性工作者為受試者，以結構式問卷蒐集資料，有效資料以描述統計、t考驗及皮爾遜積差相關等統計方法進行資料分析，研究結果為：1.女性性工作者教育程度，以國中學歷最多。2.女性性工作者曾交往過二位以上親密伴侶人數佔95.24%、曾有二次以上墮胎次數佔73.81%、以及有陰道整形手術經驗者高達88.11%，值得關切是皆曾受性傳染疾病感染的經驗。3.女性性工作者在性知識中之「對性病傳染途徑」及「戴保險套的方式與時機」等面向，未達顯著。在性態度中之「對醫療的性態度」及「對性愛的性態度」，皆達顯著相關。而在安全性行為中之「戴保險套的行為」達顯著性，故有待加強性知識，方能提昇執行安全性行為的能力。4.女性性工作者的安全性行為與性知識無顯著相關，但性態度與安全性行為有顯著正相關，且性知識與性態度呈顯著相關，可見性知識對性態度與安全性行為有重要關聯性。

This research aims at exploring relevant situations of female sex worker's experience, sex knowledge, attitude toward sex and safe sex practices. Forty-two female workers in Kaohsiung area were sampled and served as subjects of this study for material collection. Valid materials on contraception were statistically described with t testing and Pehrson relevancy, etc., by virtue of structured questionnaire.Important findings of the study are:1.The sex workers tended to be less educated, with most of them being secondary school graduates.2.The higher number of sex workers’ intimate partners, the higher their abortion rate, with 95.24 percent of sex worker with more than two sex partners ever undertaking abortion, and 73.81 percent ever undertaking more than two abortions. 88.11 percent of them ever undertaking the vaginal plastic operation and most of them ever contracting a venereal disease.3.Sex workers did not show significant awareness of the “sexually transmitted diseases” and the urgency of condom use. However, they showed significant awareness in their attitude toward “medical treatment” and “sexual love”, whereas they showed significant awareness of condom use. Sexual knowledge needs to be promoted for practicing safe sex.4.No significant correlation was shown between sex workers’ safe sex practice and their sexual knowledge;
however, positive correlation relevancy was shown between sexual attitude and safe sex practice, and between sexual attitude and sexual knowledge.
Obviously, the attitude toward sex was closely related to sexual knowledge and safe sex practice.
