本文探討實務上如何藉操作與控制程序將質子交換膜燃料電池發電系統的發電性能達到電池的設計容量並能穩定的輸出來提供變動的負載。本文使用一設計發電容量為2.5 kW 的質子交換膜燃料電池在一可完全自動化運轉的測試平台上進行發電與供應負載最佳化的測試。本測試平台由氫氣供應系統、空氣加濕系統、加熱/冷卻系統、電力調控系統與自動控制與資料擷取系統組成。2.5 kW 的質子交換膜燃料電池在本測試平台上進行長時間的運轉測試,藉分析運轉資料來調整控制策略以達到最佳化。研究測試結果顯示,藉由適當的操控實務上可以穩定的將燃料電池的出力穩定在設計值。

英文摘要

This article experimentally investigated how to optimize system performance of a proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) stack
system via various operation and control processes. The main goal of this
study was to allow this PEMFC system to meet practical variable loads
while maintaining the rating capacity of the PEMFC stack. The current
study used a PEMFC stack with a rating capacity of 2.5 kW. A fully
automated fuel cell test bench was used to perform the optimization study.
The test bench consisted of a 2.5 kW fuel cell stack, hydrogen supply
subsystem, air supply subsystem, water and heat management subsystem,
power conditioning subsystem and system control and data acquisition
subsystem. The 2.5 kW PEMFC was tested on the test bench to find the
optimum control strategy. Long term tests of the current study showed
that by appropriate manipulation of the control strategies, power output of this PEMFC system could reach rated or designed capacity.
