「性」涵概於護理整體照護中，且為護理功能之一。人類的「性」是自我認同的發展過程，而不健全的性發展，將導致諸多性問題且前後互為因果關係。倘若護理人員想要自在且正確處理病患性健康照護的問題，則必須先具備正確性知識及察覺個人對性健康的態度，且能體認病患皆有「性」方面的需求，而給予適切及個別的照護。本文試圖以「性生理」層面之內涵切入，並延伸
「人類性反應」之相關文獻資料加以詮釋，希冀能夠提供護理人員對「人類性反應」的認知，以及作為臨床「性健康照護」實務應用之參考。

Sexuality is one important concern of holistic nursing care and a process of the development of self-identity. Inappropriate sexual development may consequently cause sexual problems. If nursing staff want precisely to ease the problem of patients’ sexual health care, they must have the correct sexual knowledge and perception of individual attitude toward sexual health. They have to recognize the patients have the needs of“sexuality”and to provide the relevance and individual care. It also functions as a way to human reproduction and existence. Human sexual response cycle is therefore psychological and physiological. However, it
differs from phases, individuals and times. Thus, in view of multi-phase of sexuality and related literature reviews, this paper tries to help school nursing professionals acquire more knowledge about human sexual response. It is also expected to serve as a reference for the awareness of human sexual response and the application of clinical sexual health care practice.
