1970年代，女性主義批判以男性中心為準的科學，覺醒於知識發展與權力、文化與價值的不可切割性；由此發展出獨特的知識論引導知識的建構。女性主義研究強調無階級性、反身性及行動實踐，渴求因此帶來社會變革。本文檢視女性主義獨特的知識論立場，闡述女性主義方法論及其應用並檢視女性主義與護理知識發展間的關係。女性主義不只關注女性的能見度，也具有獨特的理論背景與方法論，對於護理知識的建構深具價值與意義。

Feminism has criticized androcentrism-based science since 1970s, due to being aware of the inevitable intertwinement between knowledge development and power, culture, and value. Therefore, a unique epistemology to guide the constructing of knowledge was developed, and feminist research started to emphasize a non-hierarchical, reflexive, and interactive approach, thriving for a social reform. This article examined feminist epistemology, feminism and nursing knowledge development, feminist methodology and the methods in application. The feminist approach is concerned not only in making women visible, but also with theoretical and methodological issues, and is believed to offer a valuable and insightful way in which to influence nursing science development.
