隨著教育改革浪潮的湧入,以往掌握極大權力的學校面臨到權力下放與分散的挑戰,學生、教師、家長,甚至社會大眾,都有對教育發聲的權力。因此,一校之長面對這樣的局面,要如何滿足不同聲音,同時又要讓學生獲得最佳學習、讓校務得以順利推動、讓學校擁有良好績效表現。以此為前提,學校公共關係的重要性不可言喻。學校公共關係是指發展學校、學校人事、社區三
者間的瞭解和有效的雙向溝通。它可讓大眾不斷的與學校保持聯繫並關心學校的發展,如此一來,學校才能在社會大眾的監督下持續不斷的成長與進步。
本研究針對國內私立大學公共關係來做探討,以私立大學中表現最為亮眼的「元智大學」為研究對象,將內容分成以下五個部分:介紹學校公共關係之內涵、比較學校公共關係之相關研究、瞭解國內私立大學公共關係之推展情形、分析個案研究—以元智大學為例,最後再提出改進方法與建議,以供各大學院校作為參考。

英文摘要

With the pouring of the educational reform tide, schools that grasped great power in the past face the challenge about power delegated and distributed to students, teachers, parents, even the publics, who have voice in education. Th erefore, as a principal who faces such a situation,
how to satisfy diff erent voice, let students acquire the best learning, let the school administration promote smoothly, and let the schools have
good performances at the same time. Regarding this as the prerequisite,
the importance of the school public relations is not spoken and can be
explained. Th e school public relations refer to developing an understanding and eff ective two-way communication among the school, school personnel, and the community. It can let the publics keep in touch with schools and caring about school development. As a result, the school could be in the constant growth and progress under the people’s supervision.
This research discussed about Taiwan’s private university public relations. Among them, we take Yuan Ze University as an example which has an outstanding performance. We divide the content into fi ve following parts: introducing intension of the public relations and relevant research, understanding the push situations of the Taiwan’s private
university public relations, analyzing the predicaments when promoting
the public relations, comparing the outcomes of the public relations in all universities, and fi nally proposing improving methods and suggestions
for every university and college as reference.
