近年來在亞洲地區，在圖書館中設置餐飲的服務工作越來越盛行。在臺灣，還是只有少數圖書館設置這種服務，此種服務工作的現況和發展值得關注。透過一項針對國內大學圖書館和公共圖書館餐飲服務設施所進行的調研工作，瞭解其中的狀況和問題，觀念的不建全、準備不夠、立場的偏頗和執行的差錯等都影響到其服務成效。本文並引用了新加坡圖書館的實例分析，將其構想和作法提供國內未來設置這種服務工作時的參考。

Recently it has been popular in Asia to establish food and drink facilities as a newservice to library patrons. In Taiwan, only a few libraries offer such a service. This paperreviews the results of a survey of those libraries, and analyzes the main reasons for theinadequacy or absence of such a service. In reference to the example of the libraries inSingapore, the paper argues that the Singaporean concepts, designs and practices couldbe used as our guidelines to promote the development of food and drink services inlibrary in the future.
