依行政院勞工委員會資料顯示職業工會會員之職業傷病發生率甚高,在2009年木工工會之職災給付佔各類工會之第二位。本研究之目的為瞭解木工職業工會會員之職業傷害現況及會員接受安全衛生教育訓練情形,並探討安全衛生教育訓練與職業傷害之相關性,以作為降低木工業職業傷害之參考。研究對象以南部某縣市木工業職業工會的會員為研究群體進行橫斷研究,採問卷調查,共回收有效問卷456份。調查結果發現,43%的木工會員過去一年內在工作時曾發生至少需要擦藥等情況的傷害,傷者中有11%的人曾接受住院治療,被切、割、擦傷為最常見的受傷類型,扳手為最重要的媒介物,手指為最常受傷的部位。在安全衛生教育訓練上,過去一年中43%木工會員不曾參加過政府或木工工會舉辦的訓練;多數未受訓會員表示不曾接收過訓練的訊息;木工會員認為最大的訓練需求為安衛法令的認識;統計檢定並未能呈現教育訓練與職業傷害之相關性。木工會員的職業傷害情況極為普遍,但會員接受教育訓練的情況仍不理想,未來需加強訓練宣導。

英文摘要

According to the statistics of Council of Labor Affairs, members of occupational unionsexperienced high incidence of occupational injuries and illness. Members of carpenter union in allreceived the second highest workers' compensation payment in 2009. The purpose of this studywas to understand the current conditions of workplace injuries and the education of safety and healthamong members of regional carpenter union, and to investigate the relationship between safety andhealth education and workplace injuries. This study conducted cross-sectionally, using members froma southern city carpenter union as the study population. Four hundred and fifty six questionnaireswere retrieved and analyzed. The results showed that in the previous year, 43% of the union memberswere suffering from injuries that needed at least first aids treatment. Eleven percent of the injuredmembers were hospitalized. Cut and abrasion were the most common injury types; wrench was themost important injury vector; and fi ngers were the most common injury parts of the body. Regardingto education of safety and health, in the previous year, 43% of the members did not attend either thegovernment or the union provided educational courses. The majority of those who did not attendthe courses reported that they did not receive any information about the educational courses. Mostmembers chose occupational safety and health regulations as the most needed topic in the futureeducation. Occupational injuries were common among members of carpenter union, yet the attendanceof the educational courses was not ideal, which shows that more efforts are needed for encouragingmembers to attend the courses.
