本研究旨在瞭解祖父母的親職教育需求與參與意願的情形及其影響因素,並探討祖父母個人背景變項、親職教育需求與親職教育參與意願之關係。本研究採問卷調查法,使用立意取樣的方式,以高雄市國小學童的431 位祖父母為樣本進行調查。研究工具為自編之「祖父母親職教育需求量表」。調查所得結果分別採用描述性統計、t 考驗、單因子變異數分析、積差相關、多元逐步迴歸等統計方法加以分析,獲得以下的結果:一、祖父母對親職教育內容的需求可分六個層面,依需求得分順序分別為:「兒童照顧」、「自我保健」、「家庭調適」、「兒童教育方法」、「溝通技巧」、「自我成長與社會接觸」。二、祖父母對親職教育內容有中等程度以上的需求,顯示祖父母有接受親職教育的需要。三、祖父母對親職教育實施方式有中等以上之偏好程度,其中以「靜態單向式」的實施方式最受喜愛。四、祖父母的親職教育參與意願仍待提昇。五、祖父母對親職教育內容的需求程度因其年齡、教育程度、家庭型態、親職教育接觸經驗之不同而有顯著差異。六、祖父母對親職教育實施方式的需求程度,因其性別、年齡、教育程度、親職教育接觸經驗之不同而有顯著差異。七、祖父母對親職教育的參與意願,因其年齡、教育程度、家庭型態、親職教育接觸經驗之不同而有顯著差異。八、祖父母親職教育需求與親職教育參與意願之間有顯著正相關存在。九、祖父母的親職教育需求高、年齡越低,對其親職教育參與意願愈有預測力。
根據上述結論,提出建議以供學校、家庭教育機構、相關單位及未來研究之參考。

英文摘要

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among demographic variables,needs of parental education and attending willingness of grandparents. The participants, selected by judgmental sampling , consisted of 431 grandparents in Kaoshiung. The instrumentation applied in this study was ”Grandparents Parental Education Needs Inventory” .The obtained data was analyzed by t-test, One-Way ANOVA, Scheffe`s method, Person Product Moment Correlation, and
Multiple Regression Analysis.The results of this study includes:1. “Child rearing, “ ”self health care,” ”family adjustment,” and ”child educating, ” were the three urgent needs in parental education for grandparents.2. Grandparents parental education needs and attending willingness in all subjects are middle.3. The most welcome format of grandparents parental education was ” motionless format .”4. The attending willingness of grandparents parental education need to be promoted.5. The grandparents who were younger, higher educational background, “skipped generation”families , with grandparent education experience had high grandparent parental education needs.6. The grandparents who were male , younger , higher educational background, with grandparent education experiences had a high preference for grandparents learning format.7. The grandparents who were younger, higher educational background, “skipped generation”families, with grandparent education experiences had high attending willingness of parental
education .8. There was significant correlation between grandparents parental education needs and grandparents parental education attending willingness.9. Grandparents parental education needs and age could effectively predict their attending willingness.Based on the results of this study , some suggestions were proposed for school, family
education institutions and further studies in the future.
