本文探討一位舌癌病患得知病情復發後所面臨的身心衝擊和調適過程。護理期間自94年2月1日至94年3月2日，運用Gordon十一項功能性健康型態評估工具，經由筆談，觀察等方式，收集主、客觀資料，確立護理問題有：疼痛、組織完整性受損、身體心像紊亂及無望感。在暸解個案過去的治療經驗後，尊重個案對治療方式的選擇，以溝通、同理之技巧籍由個別性的護理措施，使個案能夠接受自己身體外觀的改變，能自行筆談對疾病復發的壓力源，筆者同時運用護理措施，積極處理個案腫瘤潰瘍，藉由降低患者的疼痛，使病．忽疼痛達到有效控制，維持複發後最佳的生活品質。

This issue investigates that the experience a tongue cancer patient who finds out the condition has recurred then adapts to the new physiopsychological status. The period of nursing care was from February 1 to March 2, 2005. Subjective and objective information was collected. The assessment tools of Gordon's 11 functional patterns, editorial discourses, observations, etc. The nursing problems thus identified are: Pain, impaired tissue integrality, body image disturbance, and hopelessness. Through understanding of past experience, respecting patients' therapeutic opinion and application of the skills of communication and empathy, individualized nursing interventions enabled the patient to adapt to the change of body image and comment on the sources of stress herself in through writing. Meanwhile, the author applied nursing intervention to help the patient deal with tumor ulcers effectively and control pain in order to maintain the best quality of life after the recurrence.
