本研究目的爲評晚期癌症西醫住院病人會診中醫結合治療的生活品質，自民國92年3月至92年10月總共收集了74例病患，結果顯示：中西結合治療，包括中醫辨證處方、人參皂苷RHZ複方和溫熱療法，配合西醫小劑量杭癌化學藥物或砷製劑，能改善晚期癌症患者免疫功能，及提升患者生活品質，是一種相當理想的治療模式。

The purpose of study is to evaluate life of quality in termianl stage of cancer patients admitted received treatment of integrated Western and Chinese Medicine. There are collected seventy-four cancer cases since from March to October in 2003. Results demonstrated that integrated Western and Chinese Medicine including identified prescriptions of Chinese Medicine, Ginseng saponin Rh2 formulas, thermotherapy and small dose of anticancer of chemical drugs or arsenic agent can improve immunity function and elevate life of quality in late stage cancer patients. This is a good ideal therapeutic model.
