本案例為七十五歲的女性病患，有高血壓病史，94/01/27當日自覺眩暈、胸悶、頭昏欲仆而於診所就診。檢查後發現血壓極低，並發現左手腕骨折，診所醫師建議轉診治療。因此94/01/28病患由家屬陪同至本院急診室就醫，在無法排除是腸胃出血有關的低血容性休克的前提下住院，並作進一步的治療及檢查。患者住院期間發現胃體部急性腫瘤及腎上腺良性腫瘤，於94/2/25實行外科手術治療，術後患者體重減輕。94/3/10會診時，病患食後左腹絞痛情形已持續約一週，且疲倦乏力，面色不華；舌略紅略乾，苔少，舌邊略朱點，脈沈細帶滑。中醫辨證為腹痛腹瀉，證屬脾氣陰虛，肝火侮脾“治則以養陰益氣，散肝舒脾。在中醫介入治療後，病患術後食後左腹絞痛情形明顯改善“經數次會診後，病情持續改喜，於94/3/24出院，並後續於本院中醫門診追蹤治療。中西醫結合治療成功控制此胃癌術後併發症的案例。

The 75-year-old female with a history of hypertension went to the clinic where the wrist fracture was found on January 27th, 2005, in light of the chest distress and dizziness-caused standing inability. The examination evidenced the extremely low blood pressure. Therefore, she was transferred for the doctor's advice and escorted by the family came to our emergency room on January 28th and was hospitalized for further treatment on account of failure to exclude gastrointestinal bleeding-associated shock accompanied by hemolytic anemia. Because of the gastric malignant tumor and adrenal gland benign tumor, the operation that made her thinner was executed on February 25th. Until the consultation on March 10th, the left-sided abdominal colic after ingestion lasted for approximately 1 week in addition to fatigue and weakness, pale complexion, pink dry tongue with thin moss and bilaterally-sided red points, and deep slippery pulse. The identify pattern in Chinese medicine was abdominal pain and diarrhea which belonging spleen qi yin vacuity and liver fire rebeling the spleen. The principle of treatment is nourish yin and boost qi, liver dissipating and spleen soothing. After the Chinese medicine intervention therapy, the condition progressed persistently following the said colic improved greatly. After discharged on March 24th, 2005, the case was followed up by the Chinese medicine outpatient department. Resultantly, the gastric cancer postoperative complications were successfully treated with the combination of Chinese and Western medicine.
