一位54歲女性病患，罹患修格蘭氏症候群(Sjogren's syndrome)併多發性腦神經病變，自2005年8月起由於吞嚥困難及右聲帶麻痺，導致聲嘶，接受五個多月的類固醇治療及吞嚥復健，其效果不彰。後西醫加入免疫抑制劑協同治療，並會診針灸科針刺一個半月，吞嚥功能逐浙地明顯改善；復搭配煎劑助陽止癢湯加減方治療，約四個半月，聲嘶亦顯著進步“以此中西醫結合治療修格蘭氏症候群併發症，未來可以透過這案例進一步嚴謹地觀察。

A case of 54 years old woman with Sjogren's Syndrome complicated multiple cranial nerves neuropathy, she complained of hoarseness caused by dysphasia and right vocal cord palsy since August, 2005. She received steroid treatment and swallowing rehabilitation for over 5 months and had not a markedly improved. But her swallowing function gradually improved at after immunosuppressant agents administrated and acupuncture treatment for 1.5 months. When Chinese medical formula (Zhu-Yang Zhi-Yang Tang) was oral administration for four half months, her hoarseness was also reduced markedly. It suggests that it may be feasible for validation of Western Medicine integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine for treatment of Sjogren's syndrome complication in further.
