The present case was 46yrs female patient of terminal stage of lung adenocarcinoma(T2N2Ml stageIV). She had been surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy to control cancer condition. The patient was re-admitted to the hospital because of breathing difficulty at Sep.9in 2010. The chief physician informed patient's husband that the patient was overall survival about three months. Her husband asked consultation of Chinese Medicine treatment in order to extend his wife life. The Chinese diagnosis of the patient is yin and fluid damage, vacuity of lung, spleen, liver, and kidney, qi and blood debilitation and yang qi insufficiency. The focus treatment in Chinese Medicine was boosting qi and nourishing y血， and cooperation with holistic moxibustion that can elevate energy of channel and network qi and blood to improve icy cold limbs caused by yang qi insufficiency. The patient consulted department of Chinese Medicine since Sep.29 in 2010 and discharged as well as transferred hospice ward at June 2 in 201 1.In the period, she received both Chinese Medicine treatment and holistic moxibustion and get life of quality elevation and extended life span. In conclusion, the present case shows that Chinese Medicine treatment and holistic moxibustion can enhance life of quality and quantity for terminal stage of lung adenocarcinoma patients. It may offer a reference and application in clinic.
