Carcinomas of the adrenal cortex are rare malignancies and account for only 0.05%~0.2% of all cancers. Herein, we report on a woman who had suffered from an adrenal cortical carcinoma in 1997 and experienced bilateral renal metastasis after a disease-free period of 10 years. This time, she was admitted due to persistent right flank pain, and bilateral renal masses were noted by abdominal computer tomography. Resection of the mass was done and the pathology result proved adrenal cortical carcinoma. After operation, she recovered smoothly and discharged eventfully.
