A non-deflating balloon of a retained Foley catheter is a challenging situation to the clinician especially in small caliber catheters. Attempts in deflation should always begin with the non-invasive techniques such as rupture of the balloon by over-inflation with fluid or cutting of the Foley catheter to release the fluid. We report an alternative management of a non-deflating balloon in a female patient with urethral stenosis.
