腹腔鏡活體腎臓摘取術目前已是許多國內外醫學中替代傳統活體腎臓摘取術之重要方法，然而目前在台灣因爲技術考量通常採取單手協助之腹腔鏡活體腎臓摘取術以施行這項手術。經由院際合作，我們成功的使用純粹性腹腔鏡技術完成左側活體腎臓摘取術，並將腎臓從一下腹八公分之Pfannestiel傷口取出已供腎移植之使用。熱缺血時間爲四分五十八秒，腎移植患者於血管吻合之後立即恢複尿液辦理出。無論腎損贈者或腎移植者在短期及中期之追蹤下，情況都十分良好。

Laparoscopic live donor nephrectomy is now a viable alternative to its open counterpart. However, it is usually carried out using a hand-assisted laparoscopic technique in Taiwan because of technical considerations. Through inter-hospital cooperation, we have successfully performed a pure laparoscopic left donor nephrectomy, and the procured kidney was extracted via an 8-cm Pfannestiel incision. The warm ischemia time was 4 minutes and 58 seconds. The subsequent renal transplantation was performed smoothly, and the recipient resumed adequate urine output immediately after vessel anastomoses. Both the donor and recipient were in good condition during the short-term and mid-term follow-up.
