從1984年6月1989年12月，台大醫院泌尿科有7位住院病人被診斷為多發性之原發性泌尿系統惡性腫瘤。這段時間有816例經組織病理證實的惡性腫瘤，而這7位病人佔了0.86％。每位病人的多發性腫瘤有同時發現也有先後發現的記錄。他們的年齡從61到80歲平均為69.7歲，其中6位男性，只有一位女性。

From July 1984 to December 1989, seven patients hospitalized in Department of Urology of National Taiwan University Hospital were diagnosed as multiple primary G-U system malignancies. Among a total of 816 G-U malignancy cases in our department during this period, the 7 patients represented a percentage of 0.86%. Either synchronous or metachronous malignancies were recorded. Their ages ranged from 61 to 80 years with an average of 69.7 years There are 6 males and only on female. (J Urol R.O.C., 1:296-302, 1990)
