大學滿意度是大學教育品質的重要指標。目前關於大學滿意度之文獻大多出自於國外,且欠缺對不同類型大學之比較分析。本研究以台灣高等教育整合資料庫所蒐集之全國20,198位大學生為樣本,探討大學聲譽、服務品質(行政、課程及課外)和大學滿意度在公立和私立、一般和科技大學中的相關情形。研究結果顯示,台灣不同類型大學之學生對其所就讀之大學皆不甚滿意;在不同類型大學中,大學聲譽和大學滿意度在一般大學中最為相關,在技職大學中則較無相關;在大學的各項服務品質中,課程和課外服務品質與大學滿意度較為相關,行政服務品質則與大學滿意度較不相關。

英文摘要

School satisfaction has been recognized as a critical indicator signifying educational quality. Previous research on school satisfaction has mostly been conducted in a Western context and has lacked comparative results from different types of universities. This study investigates whether school satisfaction is associated with variances in university reputation and services (administration, curriculum, and co-curriculum) between public and private and between general and technical universities in Taiwan. A nationally representative sample of 20,198 students from universities around Taiwan was derived from the Taiwan Integrated Postsecondary Education Database (TIPED) and analyzed. The results of the study reveal that school dissatisfaction is prevalent among students at different types of Taiwanese universities; the association between school satisfaction and university reputation is much stronger at general universities than at technical universities, and school satisfaction is more strongly associated with curriculum and co-curriculum services than with administration services.
