引進外來投資理論地主國必須積極改善國內投資環境，才能獲得外來投資之先進技術移轉，獲得產品轉型升級擴大國際市場。提高國際競爭力。本研究以1990 年至2009 年分析台灣、韓國、中國以投資比率佔最高的電子產業為實例於日本市場競爭力佔前五名之產品別，近19 年日本對於台灣、韓國、中國投資額之成長與貿易，以探討其技術移轉績效。另外本研究以量化發展問卷對於日本消費者的調查比較發現，日本消費者雖重視品牌來源國，但來源國功能相近時，仍然會以低價為主要購買目標，因此中國電子電器產品在日本市場均有很多項目呈現第一，而台灣在半導體電子零件以及IC 兩項仍然以高品質及高競爭力呈現，因此外來投資技術移轉越多與產品國際競爭力越高。

The introduction of the foreign investment theory aggressively improved the investmentenvironment in Taiwan; it resulted in obtaining the advanced technology transfer from foreigninvestments, as well as the transformation and upgrading of products in order to expand theinternational market and improve the international competitiveness of Taiwan. This study tookthe electronics industry, which accounted for the largest proportion of total investments inTaiwan, Korea, and China from 1990 to 2009 as an example, to investigate Japan’s growth ofinvestments and trade in Taiwan, Korea, and China over the last 19 years and the correspondingtechnology transfer performance. Hence, many products produced in China are at the first placeof market competitiveness in the Japanese market, while the semiconductor electroniccomponents and IC products in Taiwan are still characterized by high quality and highcompetitiveness. As a result, the international competitiveness of products increases with theincrease in technology transfer caused by foreign investments.
