海洋教育的文化思考,其價值在通過本土、區域、全球的各種尺度的想像與認同,可以提供學習者完整的、開放的、包容的學習內容,以幫補全人的教育中的不足,讓國民更加喜愛親近海洋、認識海洋、關懷海洋。本文首先說明海洋的屬性與海洋文化的特徵,其次從人文地理學的觀點檢視臺灣海洋文化的獨特性,最後從人文地理視角對海洋教育提出一些思考。

英文摘要

Cultural thinking in ocean education can offer imaginations and identifications for students through different scales. It can also build an integrated, open, and inclusive learning content in ocean education, and help students attain a greater affinity to the ocean and an understanding of it. The purpose of this article is to try to explain the attributes of the ocean and the culture it composes, and then, to survey the ocean culture in Taiwan from the viewpoint of human geography. Finally, this paper attempts to raise some thoughts on ocean education.
