運用融熔擠製沉積成型快速原型系統可以製作出低壓射蠟模具,然而所製作出的快速模具表面精度卻不佳,主要的原因為快速模具運用層加工來製作,為了解決此一問題,本研究提出一個具經濟效益之模具表面填補技術來改善表面粗糙度。實驗結果發現,填補後低壓射蠟模具所製作之蠟型,藉由白光干涉儀量測,中心線平均表面粗糙度值可以從1710μm改善至276μm,表面粗糙度改善率可以達83.85%,此技術特色涵蓋製程簡單、低製作成本、製程具備彈性以及優良尺寸精度。
Low-pressure wax injection mold can be fabricated by fused deposition modeling rapid prototyping system. However, surface finish of mold surface is not acceptable because physical models are fabricated using a layered manufacturing. To solve this problem, an economic filling technology for improving surface finish of mold surface is proposed in this work. Wax patterns are replicated from the low-pressure wax injection mold improved by filling technology. The arithmetic average roughness value measured by white-light interferometry of wax pattern can be reduced from 1710μm to 276μm. Surface roughness improvement rate of up to 83.85% can be achieved. Advantages of this technology include simple manufacturing process, low manufacturing cost, flexible process capability and good dimension accuracy.
