This paper aims to introduce the smart parking
management and charging system. The system consists of a
set of radio frequency identification module, consumer
record writing means, sensing electronic tag, the reader and
the parking information host computer. Parking
management is through the radio frequency identification
module with the sensing electronic tag read via the host
computer to record parking information and consumer
information. Finally, it can calculate the parking fee and
identify the parking position. Also, it can announce empty
space through electronic bulletin board. Besides, the
parking information can be transferred to the nearby shops,
and the shops can provide parking fee discount based on the
amount of consumption. This creation reaches automated
management which makes customers come in and out the
parking lot entrance successfully. In addition, this smart
system can calculate the parking fee automatically, report
empty space, and combine the parking discount bargains
with the stores, which obtain humanized use of parking
management。
