本文旨在探討居家式保母使用網路資訊科技之需求概況,並分析不同背景居家式保母使用網路資訊科技需求之差異情形。本研究採用問卷調查法,對象爲台北縣、市之居家式保母,共發出757份問卷,有效問卷537份,採描述性統計,本研究之結論與建議如下:1.台北縣市居家式保母不論有無使用網路習慣,有九成五在其家中或托育場所均擁有電腦設備,且可上網比率高達九成,顯見大台北地區網路設施之普及性。2.托育地點爲台北市,保母年齡越低,教育程度越高,有機構式托育經驗者,其使用網路的比率較其他背景者高;亦顯現托育地點、年齡以及教育程度都是居家式保母使用網路之數位落差因素。3.居家式保母對於網路資訊、溝通、配銷與消費交易等類功能的使用需求程度,以資訊提供需求最高,網路消費買賣使用需求最低。同時,有使用網路經驗的居家式保母較無使用網路經驗者,對網路資訊科技的整體需求程度較高。居家式保母於使用網路後了解網路之功能與便利性,提高其學習意願與需求程度。4.居家式保母對於E化進修需求強烈,開設之課程內容爲電腦基礎課程,以及網路應用課程,以利用網際網路資源的便利性,增加媒合機會與提升托育品質。

英文摘要

The purpose of this study is to investigate the needs and different backgrounds of family child care providers using the internet information technology. There were 757 family child care providers in Taipei participated in this study by completing a questionnaire, resulting 537 valid questionnaires. The findings are as follows:1. The results showed that 95% family day care providers have computers in there home, 90% having internet setting.2. Family child care providers who used Internet were those who were younger, had higher educational levels, had 2-5 years in child care service or those who were not providing child care, and had computers and Internet connection.3. Family child care providers used Internet mostly for "looking for information" and "virtual communication", same as their needs for using the Internet between providers who were Internet users and non-users.4. Family child care providers had high demands on learning about the Internet, including computer basics and the Internet skills. The Internet resources may increase the referral opportunities and the quality of family childcare.
