本文主要是描述一位罹患乙狀結腸癌患者，術後傷口感染之住院護理經驗。筆者以個案為中心，於2010年6月21日至2010年7月12日照護期間，運用觀察、會談、資料收集以及生理、心理、社會、靈性之全人評估等方法，確立個案健康護理問題有疼痛、現存性感染、焦慮／與傷口癒合不佳有關及知識缺失／與傷口自我照護準備度不足有關等。於護理過程中，以主動關懷、傾聽、同理心與支持等方式，適時提供並教導傷口自我照護、疼痛控制等方法，使個案能透過適當護理措施改善傷口感染、增進身體舒適並緩解因術後傷口感染導致的焦慮感，使其能獲得良好的自我照護能力及住院護理經驗。

This report was about a nursing care experience of a sigmoid colon cancer patient with postoperative wound infection. The period of nursing care was from 21st June to 12th July, 2010. The patient's data was collected and evaluated by means of direct caring, observation, medical reports and patient's interview in physical, psychological, social, and spiritual fields. The patient's health problems were pain, actual infection, anxiety, and lack of caring knowledge. During the nursing care process, empathy, company, listening, and supporting were the great methods to assist the patient to overcome his anxiety of post-operation; furthermore, help him learn what the self-care procedures were, and help him learn how to get along with pain so that the patient could avoid the wound infection and relieve the physical suffering. Thus, the patient gained the ability of self care and positive experience of hospitalization.
