本文敘述照顧一位罹患多囊性卵巢症候群併發痙攣的年輕女性，因罹病造成身體肥胖，導致對身體外觀有負面評價之護理經驗。筆者於2010年5月15日至2010年5月20日期間，以Gordon十一項功能性健康評估為指引，經觀察、會談方式及出院電話訪談方式收集資料，確立個案有營養不均衡、焦慮、身體心像紊亂及照顧者角色緊張之健康問題。於照護期間，透過良好治療性關係以同理、關懷的態度，將飲食控制、規律運動之減重衛教觀念導入疾病護理，使其了解疾病與減重的重要相關性，並與個案及家屬共同擬定飲食計劃，於出院後以電話訪談的方式了解飲食運動計劃實施現況，有效地讓個案調適身體外觀變化的衝擊，使得家庭成員了解個案返家後的後續照顧。

This article described the nursing experience of caring for a young woman with polycystic ovary syndrome complicated with seizure, due to morbidity caused by obesity, leading to the physical appearance of a negative evaluation of nursing experience. The author on May 15, 2010 to 20 May 2010, Gordon 11 functional health pattern as the guideline to observe, interview, and to conduct post-hospitalization telephone interview with the patient to collect data. It was confirmed that patients experienced health problems such as imbalanced nutrition, anxiety, body image disturbance, and caregiver's role strain. During the nursing period, the researcher introduced the health education concept of diet control, regular exercise, and, weight loss education concept import disease care, through an empathic and caring attitude from a good nurse-patient relationship, to enable the patient to understand the important correlation between disease and weight loss. Moreover, the researcher jointly developed a diet program with the patient and her families. After the patient was discharged from the hospital, the researcher used telephone interviews to monitor how the diet/exercise program was implemented, in order to effectively adjust the impact of change in physical appearance on her and to help family members understand the follow-up care after the patient returned home.
