Let R be a prime ring with extended centroid C, ρ a nonzero right ideal of R, f(X1; : : : ;Xt) a non-central polynomial with zero constant term over C, not necessarily multilinear, and δ, d two nonzero deriva-tions of R. We determine the structures of R, δ and d when δd(f(X1; : : : ;Xt))is central-valued on ρ. The theorem gives a generalization of several re-lated results in the literature.
