山高河多的台灣擁有數萬座的大小橋梁,然而近年在遭受洪水、地震的侵襲後,卻發生如高屏、后豐、雙園等大橋的斷橋事件,造成人民生命威脅。為了防止災害再次發生,我們提出-「智慧型橋梁安全視訊監控傳輸系統」架構,其組成主要包含在橋上佈署感測器並輔以24小時時視訊即時監控。我們採用低價的嵌入式系統進行裝置開發,結合高頻寬、廣範圍的WiMAX無線傳輸技術,將感測與影音資料即時傳送至後端的中央控制中心與資料庫。而在跨領域與國家地震中心共同合作下,目前已將系統實地佈署於國道一號及三號大甲溪路段、高屏溪新雙園大橋進行測試驗證。而在歷經多次颱風侵襲後,本系統裝置架構仍正常發揮監控作用,由此向驗證其成效與可靠度。

英文摘要

Taiwan, an island of hundreds of mountains and numerous rivers, has ten thousands of bridges built everywhere. In recent years, several major bridges, such as Kao-Ping Bridge, Hou-Fong Bridge and Shuangyuan Bridge, collapsed after bad floods and earthquakes, and these caused great life-threatening. In order to prevent the accidents due to these disasters, we propose a framework named "Intelligent Bridge Safety Video Surveillance Systems", which consists of sensors and 24-hour real-time video/audio surveillance systems deployed on bridges. This framework is developed by low cost Embedded ARM Linux, combining with WiMAX for wide-coverage broadband wireless communications. Through WiMAX networks, the data of sensors and video/audio surveillance systems can be reported to the back-end center control system and database storages. By interdisciplinary collaboration with National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering, the frameworks of surveillance systems are already implemented, tested, and verified on bridges including Dajia River sections of National Freeway No.1 and No.3, and New Shuangyuan Bridge across Kao-Ping River. These frameworks of surveillance systems survive and keep operating after stricken by several typhoons, which prove their effectiveness and reliability.
