在CATV傳輸系統中,採用升頻技術和相位調變方式來減少系統引起的雜訊和失真已經被提出並證實了。相對於使用常見的強度調變方式的CATV傳輸系統,在我們提出的系統中同樣傳輸100公里的單模光纖,擁有更好的載波雜訊比、二次拍差比與三次拍差比。這驗證了擬議系統的可行性,並揭示一個優異的傳輸性能。
A fiber optical CATV transport system that employed an upconverted technique and a phase modulation scheme to reduce noise and distortion induced by system is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. In contrast to a fiber optical CATV transport system that used a conventional intensity modulation scheme, excellent performances of carrier-to-noise ratio, composite second order, and composite triple beat are obtained in our proposed systems over a 100 km single-mode fiber transmission. It verifies the feasibility of the proposed systems and reveals an outstanding one with excellent transmission performances.
