本篇探討《西遊記》之色戒,並以唐僧為研究對象。蓋色戒乃是佛家一大戒律,而唐僧每逢女妖女
主的誘惑拐騙,甚至行強時,皆能不亂其心,一秉取經初衷,在這執守色戒的表象之外,觀乎唐僧的被
動、抗拒,以及眾女的下場,亦反應出《西遊記》作者對僧人的色戒觀念。全篇共分四節:壹,前言,
縷析唐僧為〈《西遊記》之色戒〉研究對象的原因。貳,誘僧:探討唐僧吸引眾女追求的條件,分為:一、
男色之誘,二、長生之誘;参,唐僧之色劫:以文化層面來分析唐僧的色戒,分為:一、以色設劫,色
而不淫;二、唐僧之貞節觀,三、女禍:不妖其身,必妖於人。肆,結論。

英文摘要

This paper discusses about lust and caution of the book-Journey to the West. Lust and caution are one of the big commandments in the Buddhism. Every time Tang-monk faced the sexual temptations, even he was force to do it, he still kept his hear clear. He insisted on going on a pilgrimage for Buddhist scriptures. Beyond the appearances of lust and caution, Tang-monk’s passiveness, passiveness and the fates of evil women reflected the author of Journey to the West’s conceptions of lust and caution. This paper is divided to four parts. The fist is why I chose Tang-monk as studying object. The second is the temptations. One is male temptations, the other is longevity temptation. The third is lustful calamities. One is using lust to make a calamity; the other is Tang-Monk’s conception of virginity; another is women disasters: evil women didn’t coquette Tang-monk, but they would coquette his mind. The forth is conclusion.
