  本篇研究以餐旅教育者的角色來探討五位女性學生在實習環境所面臨的性騷擾問題,透過深度訪談法了解餐旅實習生性騷擾事件發生的始末,與對實習生未來生涯的影響,以作為未來輔導實習生的依據,期許學生能學習保護自己,擁有快樂安全的實習生活。研究結果發現餐旅實習生性騷擾事件確實存在於工作環境當中,並且性騷擾者大多為工作場所中擁有相當地位的主管。而受到性騷擾的學生會產生多重的情緒反應,甚至於會產生後遺症,而影響實習品質。然而慶幸的是大部分曾受擾的實習生均能在最後化身為蛻變的蝴蝶從悲痛中走出來。本研究同時針對研究者與餐旅教育者做省思,探討本研究的缺失,並且思考性騷擾事件的產生,身為餐旅教育者該負起哪些責任,以及透過課堂教導學生如何避免與處理性騷擾問題。

英文摘要

  This research is to discuss students’ sexual harassment problems in a hospitality workplace from the hospitality educators' viewpoint. Through deep interview let us understand the whole story of hospitality intern students’ harassment and the effects of intern students’ future career. This will be a guide to tutor future intern students, to expect them to protect themselves from harassment and to have a happy and safe training environment. The research found that intern students’ sexual harassment indeed exists in hospitality workplaces, and the majority of perpetrators are respected supervisors. The sexual harassment victims will respond to multi-emotions and even have some kind of sequela to affect learning. To be happy, finally, most victims can recover from deep sorrow, just like a transmutative butterfly. This research also makes researchers and hospitality educators self-reflection to discuss the faults and defects of this research, think more about what responsibilities hospitality educators need to take when sexual harassment happens, and teach students how to avoid and deal with this kind of sexual harassment from tutorial classes.
