大學生畢業後進入勞力市場,哪些因素與薪資所得產生關聯?人力資本論與訊號理論是兩個不同的解釋角度。本研究依其理論意涵,以就業職能代表前者、專業證照象徵後者,分析這兩者對於薪資的提升作用。本研究以「台灣高等教育整合資料庫」96學年度應屆畢業生資料進行分析,研究發現有三:一、大學生對於四項就業職能的自我評估都不低,其中以「工作態度」最高;二、超過四成的大學生在畢業前至少擁有一張專業證照,一般大學╱技職院校取得證照的類型各有所長;三、在對薪資的影響方面,就業職能對薪資有2.7%的解釋力,專業證照則達到7.2%。本研究並提出關於職能與證照之政策建議。

英文摘要

What factors have an impact on wages for university graduates as they enter into the labor market? Human capital theory and singling theory have provided different perspectives to examine this question. Deriving from both theoretical implications, this study analyzes to what extent that employment competency and the number of professional licenses could enhance wages. Based on "Taiwan Integrated Postsecondary Education Database (TIPED)", data of university graduates of 2007 School Year were analyzed. There are three findings. First, college students' self assessments for four types of employment competency are not low and "work attitude" received the highest score. Second, more than 40% of college students receive more than one professional license prior to their graduation. In addition, students from general universities and technological and vocational universities have obtained different professional licenses according to their varied majors. Third, employment competency serves 2.7% of explanatory power upon wages and the number of professional license has 7.2% of explanatory power on wages. Finally, the author provides suggestions for policy-making regarding employment competency and professional licenses.
