國際網絡交錯縱橫,這個世界已經發展成為彼此競合、相互依存的地球村,臺灣的中小學教育不再能安守在本地脈絡裡,國際教育是無可規避的道路。本文探討國際教育的意涵與特性,列舉倡議國際教育的非營利性組織,並以加拿大的國際教育推動經驗反思臺灣應有的作法。
As international networks crisscrossing, the world has developed into a global village in which nations are either interdependent or competing with each other. Apparently, go with the trend of international education is inevitable. The k-12 education in Taiwan, which generally stays in local context, should also go for international education as well. This article explores the meaning and characteristics of international education, proposes some non-profit organizations of international education, and reflects on how to promote k-12 international education from Canada's experience.
