Applying modern internet resources as assistance, such as YouTube, Wikipedia, Facebook, other networking websites, or some media players, teachers can provide students with English songs or music videos and create simple listening, reading, writing, and speaking tasks for teaching English as well. Incorporating Web 2.0 technologies in English teaching, teachers hope to motivate students in learning the target language more effectively. The related activities accompanied with songs and videos can hopefully encourage students’ attention, participation, and class interaction. The interesting and effective teaching methods aim to boost motivation, stimulation, excitement and interaction in the English class.
