中文摘要

葉黃素、玉米黃素、Omega-3多元不飽和脂肪酸、維生素C, E、微量礦物質鋅、銅等營養素的攝取對於防止中、重度老年性黃斑部病變的惡化確實有幫助。對於劑量的多少必須非常的謹慎。營養素對於正常人或輕度老年性黃斑部病變,目前並沒有證據顯示有效。對於其他眼疾,如:青光眼、飛蚊症等更是不在治療適應症之內。對於白內障的效果則正在研究中。事實上,日常飲食就能夠補充足夠的營養素。

英文摘要

Nutrient supplements such as lutein, zeaxanthin, omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid, vitamin C, E,trace minerals zinc and copper are effective in the prevention of progression of moderate or severe age-relatedmacular degeneration. The dosage used must be carefully monitored. However, nutrient support in normalsubject or mild age-related macular degeneration is not evidence-based. Also there is no evidence as to the effecton other eye diseases such as glaucoma, vitreous floated etc. The study in regard to its effect on cataract isundergoing. In fact, daily food adjustment is sufficient to supply the nutrients needed.
