目的:肥胖對於心血管危險因子及工作生產力降低的影響已被證實。許多研究著重在 釐清造成肥胖的因子,然而飲食行為和肥胖的關係少被討論。本研究目的是探討職場工作 者飲食行為和肥胖的相關性。方法:此橫斷性研究包括168位職場工作者,以問卷調查方式 收集參與者的飲食行為、特定食物進食狀況及適度運動習慣等資料,並記錄含身高、體重 及身體質量指數等體位測量資料。結果:飲食行為與身體質量指數有關聯(P < 0.001),而 特殊食物進食狀況與身體質量指數則無顯著關聯。結論:對於職場工作者肥胖的防治及管 理,協助建立良好的飲食行為應是有效的策略。

英文摘要

Objective: Obesity is found to be associated with cardiovascular risk factors and reduced work productivity. More studies in this filed focused on the cause of obesity. Less is known about the correlation between dietary behavior and obesity. The aim of the present study was to determine the correlation between dietary behavior and obesity among workers. Methods: This cross-sectional study enrolled 168 workers from five companies. Participants were investigated by questionnaire to obtain information on dietary behavior and exercise habit. Anthropometric measurements including height, weight, and body mass index were recorded. Results: Dietary behavior was correlated with body mass index (p < 0.001). However, specific food intake did not show a significant correlation with body mass index. Conclusions: Adopting good dietary behaviors is an effective strategy to prevent from obesity for workers.
