本文利用接枝共聚合反應(Graft Copolymerization)的方法,將丙稀酸接枝於 稻殼上,製成稻殼-聚丙烯酸接枝共聚合物(稻殼-g-PAA)。探討起始劑濃度對共 聚合產物接枝百分率的影響,製成之高丙烯酸含量的稻殼-g-PAA,再予以水解, 可製得帶大量負電荷之新型吸附劑,應用於吸附水溶液中之曱基紫與孔雀綠。吸 附等溫線結果顯示,Langmuir模式較Freundlich模式更準確的描述此新型吸附劑 對曱基紫與孔雀綠的吸附行為,計算單層飽和吸附量(Monolayer adsorption capacity ) qm 曱基紫為 56.50 mg/g-adsorbent,孔雀綠為 122.8 mg/g-adsorbent,較未 改質之稻殼分別增加3.0倍與5.1倍。

英文摘要

In this study, Acrylic acid (AA) grafted rice husk was synthesized by using graft copolymerization with Ce+4 as the initiator and applied to investigate the graft percentage of copolymer from the effect of initiator concentration. The AA-modified rice husks were hydrolyzed to sodium salt and a new adsorbent with a lot of negative charge was obtained to further adsorb Methyl violet (MV) and malachite green (MG) in solution. The result shows equilibrium adsorption data are more consistent with the Langmuir isotherm equation than with the Freundlich equation. The maximum adsorption capacities of modified rice husks were 56.50 mg/g-adsorbent and 122.8 mg/g-adsorbent for MV and MG respectively. They were about 3.0 and 5.1 times than those of unmodified rice husks used in the adsorption of MV and MG.
