本研究在活性碳纖維(ACFs)表面稼接含氮奈米碳管(CNTs)形成複材, 探討複材吸附曱苯蒸氣時,水氣含量的干擾。研究結果發現,所合成之CNTs以 彎曲糾結之形式、包覆在ACFs表面。稼接CNTs之ACFs在相對濕度高於42% 時,對曱苯的吸附才會受到影響;單位比表面積的曱苯吸附量可較原ACFs提高 約20% ;未先含浸醋酸鈷之複材様本具有較佳的曱苯吸附性能。
In this study, hybrid adsorbents formed by grafting carbon nanotubes (CNTs) onto activated carbon fibers (ACFs) are prepared to investigate the effect of water vapor for adsorption to toluene vapor on the adsorbents. Results show that the spaghetti-like CNTs are crookedly grown onto the surface of ACFs completely. The adsorption capacities of toluene on ACFs grafted with CNTs are gradually influenced when relative humidity exceeds 42%. The adsorption amount based on the specific surface area on ACFs grafted with CNTs increases up to approximately 20%, compared to those on non-grafted ACFs. Finally, it is worthy of note that the hybrid adsorbents without immersing in cobalt acetate solution exhibit a higher adsorption capacities of toluene.
