中文摘要

根據最近台灣地區國民營養調查發現,一半及1/3以上的成年男性與女性有過重或是肥胖的情形。輔仁大學2011年入學新生中有17%以上屬於過重或肥胖。肥胖是多種慢性疾病的危險因子,同時也會造成國家高額的醫療支出。因此在學校中建立一個可以持續進行的健康體重控制課程更形重要。本研究於輔大招募BMI≧27學生,參與一項為期八週之健康體重控制課程。課程內容包括營養課程以及有氧運動課程。以問卷方式在課程開始前和結束時進行體重控制知識、態度以及飲食行為評量。在課程開始、第四週以及課程結束時進行體組成測量,並以飲食頻率問卷分析受試者食物及營養素攝取量。以配對平均數差異顯著檢定、卡方檢定分析及單因子變異數分析課程成效。完整參與活動之25位受試者平均身體質量指數由30.26±3.58 kg/m2下降至29.54±3.78 kg/m2。課後體脂肪百分比及腹部脂肪也較課前顯著減少。體重控制知識、態度及飲食行為得分也明顯提升。課程結束時,受試者每日熱量攝取及脂肪佔熱量百分比均顯著減少;而蔬菜攝取量和醣類佔熱量百分比顯著上升。研究結果顯示在大學中健康體位控制課程可容易且成功地進行;但必須發展更多吸引肥胖學生參加此類課程之方法。本課程的長期效果以及體重復重的可能性則需更多的研究。

英文摘要

The present study was intended to establish a sustainable healthy weight control program in the university to reduce the prevalence of obesity among students. An eight-week healthy weight control program including four nutrition sessions and eight aerobic exercise classes was developed. University students’ BMI≧27 were eligible for recruitment. A questionnaire including weight control knowledge, attitude and eating behavior was developed and filled out before and after the program by studied students. Body weight, height and compositions of studied subjects were measured before, the 4th week, and after program. Paired t-test, Chi square and one-way ANOVA were used to evaluate the effectiveness of the program. Totally 25 students completed the program. The average Body Mass Index (BMI) of studied subjects was reduced from 30.26±3.58 kg/m2 to 29.54±3.78 kg/m2, also % body fat and area of visceral fat were also significantly reduced after program ended. Weight control knowledge, attitude, and eating behaviors among studied subjects were improved. By the end of the program, studied students significantly reduced their daily caloric intakes and percentages of calories from fat; however, they significantly increased daily vegetable intakes and percentage of caloric intake from carbohydrates. The present study showed that a healthy weight control program can be easily implemented successfully in university. Nevertheless, student’s motivation to take part in weight control program needs to be explored. The long term effect of such a program and possibilities of weight regain require further study.
