Replacing missing single tooth with dental implant has become routine and long-term success with implant-supported single-tooth restoration requires a comprehensive and interdisciplinary treatment approach. Success is not only defined by osseointegration of the implant, but a harmonious and natural blending of the restoration with the surrounding tissues and dentition. Clinical cases in this article present the main aspects of current treatment protocols and discuss material options and clinical techniques to achieve acceptable outcomes. (J.
