中文摘要

本研究旨在探討國民小學全球化現況與學校競爭力的相關。以研究者自編之「全球化與學校競爭力」問卷,調查臺中市、臺中縣、及南投縣國民小學教師和校長,抽取 500 人為樣本,有效樣本453份(90.6 %)。所得資料以t 考驗、單因子變異數分析、積差相關、及典型相關進行統計分析。研究的結果獲得以下結論: 1.國民小學的全球化現況整體和學校競爭力現況整體都達到「中上」以上的程度。 國民小學全球化現況整體之平均數為M=3.13 (SD=.43),而學校競爭力現況整體之平均數為 3.08 (SD=.46 ),兩者都達到「中上」以上的水準。 2.不同背景和環境變項的教師在全球化現況部分有顯著差異。 女性教師在人文關懷層面高於男性教師, 40~49 歲的教師在全球化整體情形高於 50歲以上之教師;中型規模學校(19~3 0 班)之全球化情形高於小型(18班以下)和大型學校(31班以上),臺中市學校的全球化程度高於臺中縣和南投縣之學校。 3.不同環境變項的國民小學對學校競爭力的影響具有顯著差異。 中型規模之學校(19~30 班)其競爭力高於小型(18班以下)和大型學校(31班以上),臺中市的學校競爭力程度高於南投縣和臺中縣。 4.全球化與學校競爭力之間的相關性極高。 全球化現況整體與學校競爭力整體之相關達.86 (p<.01),而全球化四個層面和學校競 爭力五個層面間之相關也很高,在.51到.73之間(p<.01)。

英文摘要

The purposes of this study were to investigate the relationships between globalization and school competitiveness in the elementary schools. The main instrument used in this study was a questionnaire designed by the researcher. A total of 453 copies of the questionnaire were collected from elementary school teachers in Taichung City, Taichung County and Nantou County. The statistical methods used to analyze the results include t-test, one way-ANOVA,canonical and Pearson’s product-moment correlation analysis. The conclusions of this research are as follows: 1. According to the results of this research, globalization and school competitiveness in the elementary school reach a “mid to high” level. 2. With different background varies of teachers and different varies of school situation, the study show that there are partially differences. 3. For the school competitiveness, different varies of situation had difference. 4. There is a close relationship between globalization and school competitiveness.
