正子造影對於大腸直腸癌患者肝臟轉移的監測上有其臨床價値。我們報告一位大腸直腸癌的個 案，在正子造影的影像上高度懷疑有肝臟轉移，但是最後的病理結果呈現的是縫線肉芽腫。這個案主 要強調即使影像學上高度懷疑癌症轉移，我們仍然可以透過詳細的臨床病史，開刀病史及手術位置， 腫瘤指數的高低等數據來輔助我們做正確的診斷。

It is well accepted that FDG PET/CT scan has a role in detecting hepatic metastases in the patients of colorectal cancer. We report a false-positive PET/CT result with avid FDG uptake in the liver mimicking a hepatic metastasis, but the pathologic report finally shows suture granuloma. This case demonstrates that even the imaging feature is highly suspicious metastasis, the possibility of suture granuloma need to be considered in the patients with normal CEA and operative history especially in corresponding to operative location.
