本硏究使用含碳0.05% ~ 0.80%之碳鋼進行熱浸鍍鋁,探討碳鋼底材之碳含量對鋁塗 層浸鍍成長行爲與高溫氧化的影響。實驗結果顯示,經熱浸鍍鋁後碳鋼的鋁塗層均是由純 鋁層、鐵鋁介金屬層與波來鐵所組成;底材碳含量愈高,鐵鋁介金屬層成長厚度愈薄,塗 層中的波來鐵含量也越多。碳鋼底材的碳含量愈低,熱浸鍍鋁後的抗高溫氧化性優於高碳底材。
In this study, the effect of carbon content in the steel on the growth and high-temperature oxidation behaviors of the hot-dipping aluminide layer was investigated by hot-dip aluminizing of AISI 1005, 1040 and 1080 carbon steels containing 0.05% 〜0.80% carbon. The results show the hot-dipped aluminide coating consists of Al topcoat, Fe-Al intermetallic layer and pearlite. Steel substrate which contains higher carbon content exhibits thinner Fe-Al intermetallic layer and higher amount of pearlite trapped in the aluminide layer. In addition, the difference of carbon content between those steel substrates resulted in the diverse performance of high-temperature oxidation resistance of the aluminide coatings. Aluminide coating on the low carbon content steel exhibits a better oxidation resistance.
